From Sunfield Farm
In 2000, Dr. Madelyn Curll began working at Oak Bay Animal Hospital as the weekend relief doctor before transitioning into a full time position. In 2012, Dr. Curll purchased the practice from its founder Dr. Hank Snelgrove.
Dr. Curll graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. On completing her studies, she moved to the Seattle area where she practiced for five years at Lake Forest Park Animal Hospital. From Seattle, she moved to Bainbridge Island where she worked as a full time vet before moving to Port Ludlow in 2000 and beginning her association with Oak Bay Animal Hospital.
Dedicated to education, Dr. Curll has spent hundreds of hours in seminars over her long career in the field of veterinary medicine. She has extensive knowledge of veterinary medicine, surgery and dentistry.
Since becoming a veterinary practitioner, Dr. Madelyn Curll has followed the wise and compassionate words of her mentor.
“By practicing the Golden Rule, I will treat patients and their families as I would want to be treated. I will try to give them reason to smile, help them cry, and provide them with a sound basis for hope.”
~ Dr. Carl Osborn
Dr. Curll continues to provide the exceptional care that Oak Bay Animal Hospital’s clients rely on.
